Nakatsu Orchard: The owner of Nakatsu Orchard has a unique background—he previously worked in a research lab at the Faculty of Engineering, Okayama University. Drawing on his experience as a data scientist, he applies a scientific approach to peach cultivation, focusing on reduced pesticide farming. The orchard grows over 30 varieties of peaches throughout the year, offering visitors the chance to discover different flavors depending on the season. One of the highlights is the orchard located just behind the iconic Bitchu Kokubunji Five-Story Pagoda, where visitors can enjoy a hands-on harvest experience surrounded by stunning scenery and a true sense of the seasons.
MOMONA Peach Farm: Located in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, MOMONA Peach Farm cultivates over 20 varieties of peaches. Different varieties are harvested throughout the season, allowing visitors to discover new and unique flavors every time they visit. The farm practices "sōsei saibai" (grass-cover cultivation), a method that nurtures the soil by allowing natural grasses to grow. This eco-friendly approach emphasizes sustainable agriculture, bringing out the true potential and flavor of each peach while being kind to the environment and the land.
