At Momona Peach Farm, you can harvest the finest seasonal peaches from early summer through late August.

Relax with the New “Farm Swing” and Rescued Cats
New to the farm last year is the “Handmade Swing”! Swinging under the blue sky surrounded by peach trees is a fantastic photo opportunity for children and adults alike. Momona Peach Farm is also well-known for its dedication to cat rescue. If you are lucky, you might encounter some of the friendly rescued cats lounging around the farm. Between the peaches, the scenery, and the cats, your heart and soul will truly be refreshed.
Tips for Rainy Days
Don’t worry if the weather forecast looks a bit gray. You can still enjoy peach picking at Momona Peach Farm even in the rain! (Please note: activities may be canceled in the event of severe weather.)
- Bring Rain Gear: Since you will be walking under peach trees, a raincoat or poncho is much more convenient than an umbrella.
- Boots are Recommended: The ground is natural soil, so wearing rain boots will allow you to enjoy the experience without worrying about mud.
Post-Harvest Lunch: “Takeda” in the Historical District
Located about 15 minutes away by car in a beautiful Historical Preservation District, “Takeda” is a must-visit local gem.
- Takeda Western Style: Famous for its nostalgic yet authentic “Hamburg” steaks and fried shrimp with rich sauces.
- Takeda Japanese Style (Soba): Features smooth, handmade buckwheat noodles. A bowl of cold soba is the perfect way to cool down after peach picking.
